About New Power Labs

New Power Labs is an action-oriented think tank dedicated to expanding access to capital for underfunded and overlooked leaders and communities. New Power Labs is working with partners and supporters across Canada to shift $500 million to underfunded and overlooked founders and leaders by 2030.

Across Canada, there are major disparities in how capital flows and who gets funded, which leaves diverse groups behind and limits our impact, potential and prosperity.

New Power Labs collaborates with capital deployers across the full capital spectrum — from philanthropy to impact investing to venture capital and bank financing — leveraging research and data benchmarks to shift their policies and practices and to catalyze system-wide change.
