Fund Canada asset owners have pledged $334.9 million. Asset managers have pledged $151 million. Close to $500 million has been committed to underfunded and overlooked leaders by 2030. The capital is there, yet the discovery infrastructure isn't.
Black, Indigenous, women, gender-diverse, people with disabilities, and other historically underestimated leaders build organizations that drive social and economic impact across Canada — and receive a fraction of available capital. Not because the opportunities aren't there, but because conventional funder networks, intake processes, and due diligence frameworks weren't built to see them.

WIN-VC Canada is a national collaborative funded by Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) Canada. Its mission is to make venture capital more inclusive for women and gender-diverse entrepreneurs, connecting them with investors committed to gender-lens investing and systemic change. WIN-VC works across Atlantic Canada, Quebec, Ontario, Alberta, Yukon, and British Columbia. Its partners include New Power Labs, SVX, Spring, Esplanade, the Canadian Women's Foundation, WE-BC, and the Pond-Deshpande Centre.
