A few weeks ago, I joined a panel hosted by Imagine Canada, one of New Power Labs’ strategic partners.

We were asked: What bold step should we take in this moment?

In the face of rising anti-EDI pressure, I shared that the boldest step is to lean in – together.  Retreating is the real risk for Canada. Quiet caution, stepping back, playing it safe: that’s the danger in 2025. 

Bruce McDonald, Imagine Canada’s CEO, captured it best: moving from “elbows up to arms linked” may be exactly what this moment demands.
