Vu Le has long warned that the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors tend to recycle “solutions privilege” – privileging ideas that feel safe, familiar, and incremental, rather than structural.  What looks like “progress” often masks deeper inertia. 

Until we break the habit of funding the comfortable version of equity, we will never fund the courageous kind.

Because the real barriers are not a lack of goodwill or grant dollars; they are the assumptions, risk aversions, and invisible norms baked into how capital flows.
